We always like to warmly welcome our new team members when they join Adapt Biogas, and today; we are delighted to welcome our new Business Development Manager, Deborah Sacks.
Deborah arrives at Adapt Biogas with a wealth of experience in the waste sector and town planning, being a Chartered Surveyor, a Chartered Town Planner and a Chartered Waste Manager!
Deborah Sacks, Business Development Manager
She has previously worked with a range of local and regional authorities, supporting waste plans and planning applications. She formed her own consultancy in 2010 to share her knowledge and experience nationwide.
The skills and contacts she can bring to Adapt Biogas will help the business to reach out within the green energy community to assess possible new sites for anaerobic digestion, source suitable feedstock opportunities and make the vital commercial food waste contacts our business needs.
Though not a stranger to the world of waste in all its glory, Deborah is keen to develop a further working knowledge of the biogas process, specifically around the agricultural sector, which makes us perfect partners!
We all agree that the UK needs more anaerobic digestion opportunities, which we hope Deborah can help us find and develop with our funding partner Macquarie Group.
Deborah says:

Deborah was on site with our recent visit from the Department for Business and Trade, who brought delegates from six Central European countries to review our Murrow Site. We are sure she will be a great asset in helping Adapt Biogas partner with European neighbours to develop AD sites.
