With over 25 years of experience in anaerobic digestion operations, construction project management and environmental management, James has developed complex projects across the energy, environment, regeneration, and transport sectors for both public and private sector clients. James’ role as Managing Director is to oversee the operations of the assets within the Adapt Biogas group of companies with the aim of growing the business and achieving optimum productivity.

Jenny as Finance Director is responsible for the finance, human resources and purchasing activities within the business. Clear financial reporting is vital to all of the stakeholders, ensuring that all are focused on continually improving the performance and effectiveness throughout the business. She works on developing the management team and implementing processes and procedures to replicate across all areas of the business.

Marie has joined the business with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the world of health and safety. Since qualifying Marie has had varied work roles with Natural England and Anglian Water, helping to build up her skills on sustainability at work and championing, of course, the vital role good health and safety practice means for businesses. She is ken to ensure Adapt Biogas is a happy and safe place to work and continue to deliver employee satisfaction.

Commercial Procurement Manager

Andrew's role will ensure that the Anaerobic Digestion plants are constantly fed with the right blend of products to obtain the maximum gas yield at the most cost-effective rate for the business. He will work closely with the plant managers to ensure the feedstock's quality and scheduling meet the plants' requirements and that all feedstocks can be maintained and balanced throughout the year.

Responsible for the day to day organisation of our haulage team. Stephen has a strong link with the neighbouring farmers and aims to achieve a better culture around the stigma of AD plants, whilst highlighting the many advantages of renewable energy across the sectors.

She is our expert in making our complex business model into something everyone can understand to support and grow the business.

Melanie heads up the finance team and works with confidence and efficiency to keep the business working successfully. Overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, as well as payroll, VAT and HMRC processes. She is always looking to make improvements to procedures and controls for the groups business as a whole.
